Step into the heart of the olive harvest with a hands-on experience in one of Tasmania’s oldest groves. You’ll join us among the trees to learn how cool-climate olives are grown, picked, and prepared for milling. Wander through the rows with your basket, try your hand at harvesting, and discover what makes Tasmanian winter oils so distinctive.

During your visit, you’ll also get to taste the true character of Tasmania’s cool-climate olive oil—fresh, vibrant, and full of distinct flavour. Guided by us, you’ll learn how to recognise quality, explore different varietal profiles, and understand how winter harvesting techniques shapes taste.

Where you will unwind

After a full day in the grove—picking olives, tasting fresh oil, and exploring the farm—you're group will retire to the Olive Leaf Retreat, our cosy four-bedroom farmhouse nestled among the trees. Winter brings a calm stillness to the property, with misty mornings, quiet hills, and views that roll out across the valley.
Inside, the home offers the perfect blend of country warmth and modern comfort. Spacious living areas invite you to relax, contemporary finishes make your stay effortless, and gentle underfloor heating keeps every room toasty after time outdoors. It’s a peaceful, private base to rest, reset, and enjoy the quiet rhythm of farm life.
